The ancient Egyptians had many weapons at their disposal, including bows and arrows, swords, axes, spears and throwing sticks.
The Egyptians main weapons were bows and arrows. The archers would ride on chariots or just walk. Archers would attack and weaken the defences of the enemy ready for their foot solders to move it. The first Egyptian arrow heads were crafted out of stone, then they progressed to obsidian, copper, and iron arrow heads.

The ancient Egyptian armies were also equipped with axes. Most of the axes were designed like hatchets, but there were some axes that had a fan like in structure. The axes could be used for hacking or throwing.
Spears were the ancient Egyptians second most important weapon. Their charioteers would carry spears as a secondary weapon to stop foot soldiers from getting to close. Foot soldiers would also carry spears. They also progressed through stone, obsidian, copper and iron spearheads, like the arrow heads.
